The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) continues to affirm its commitment to academic excellence and future-proofed student success as it earned recognition as the 7th Top Performing School in the October 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Electronics Engineering.
PLP received the Certificate of Distinction for achieving an exemplary passing performance of 85.71%, a testament to the dedication of its students, the competence and mentorship of its engineering faculty, and the steadfast support of the Pasig City Government under the leadership of Mayor Vico Sotto, Chair of the Board of Regents.
The award was conferred on December 6, 2025, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), with PRC Chairperson Charito A. Zamora, Board Chairman Engr. Vicente L. Cejuco, and Board Members Adonis Q. Talabo and Gerhard P. Tan presenting the distinction.
The College of Engineering, under the leadership of Engr. Godofredo S. Zapanta, continues to strengthen the Electronics program through rigorous instruction, industry-aligned competencies, and a culture of grit, responsibility, and service. This recognition reflects the College’s commitment to ensuring that PLPians are equipped for success.
