UNIVERSITY RETENTION POLICY

The University policy of three failures in the enrolled subjects incurred in a semester by a student in any college at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig means separation from the University. Once the student has obtained a failure/s, they should observe pre-requisite requirements in enrolling in the subject the following semester.

COLLEGE RETENTION POLICY

The College retention policy shall be that four (4) failures incurred cumulatively by a student in any subject and qualifying exams mean separation from the College of Engineering.

This retention policy covers only the following students:

        • All 1st-year students.
        • All 2nd-year students.
        • 3rd-year students with existing or ongoing subjects on their 1st and 2nd-year curriculum.
        • 4th-year students with existing or ongoing subjects on their 1st and 2nd-year curriculum.

This College retention policy no longer applies to regular and irregular 3rd and 4th-year students who already swept and passed all the first two year levels. However, six (6) years of residency and the University policy still apply.

ACADEMIC STATUS OF THE STUDENTS

There will be five academic statuses for the engineering students, as indicated below:
