Vision
The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Research Office envisions itself as a potent institutional arm in the recognition and respectability of PLPasig as an institution performing the function of research, generating knowledge for further development of our human, organizational, and communal life.
Objectives
- Encourage faculty members and other personnel from different colleges and offices to come up with an action research and other type of researches per academic year.
- Focus research efforts on the needs of the University and the city.
- Provide trainings in research to produce quality research outputs.
- Promote collaborative research between professors and students, professors and administrative personnel, and university people and external research teams.
- Provide incentives for those who undertook research which yielded a very satisfactory research output.
- Extend support and sponsorships for faculty members and student researches.
- Provide a program for faculty and students that is geared towards an empowered understanding of the research process.
- Build a multidisciplinary research team which will serve as a core group tasked to initiate research works for publication.
- Publish research works at least once a year through the Pamantasan Research Journal.
Goal
The PLP CES aims at attaining the holistic human development of its partner communities. It also endeavours to enhance the sense of social responsibility among its students, faculty members, and personnel.

To build partnerships and capacities with the marginalized communities in the city and the nation by providing support-mechanism in the implementation of programs and services, share expertise and academic resources, and promote fundamental human development.
Vision
The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Community Extension Service Office envisions itself as a catalyst in the transformation of the society. An office that works in partnership with marginalized communities and with other organizations dedicated to local and national development through integrated programs to empower people towards human advancement.
Objectives
- To strengthen the relationship between the University and the community through collaborative extension programs and services.
- To share the University expertise and resources for the improvement of the quality of lives of the community.
- To organize the entire PLP community for significant and responsive community service.
- To provide alternative solutions to community problems of the marginalized as well as the less-privileged people by assisting them to become productive citizens of the community.
- To provide services within the capability of the University to different institutions and organizations.
