Mission & Vision

College Background

To realize the hope and the vision of providing a community-based education for the Pasigueños, PLP offered the Hotel & Restaurant Management program under the College of Business Administration during its first year of operation, School Year 2000-2001.

 

College Statement of Thrust

The College of International Hospitality Management aims to develop value- oriented, skillful, creative and innovative individual in a globally competitive environment of hospitality industry through a strong academic, social, and moral foundation of learning.

 

Vision

A vessel of sturdy institution that will develop competitive, socially responsible professionals in a globally competitive environment of a fast-changing Hospitality Industry through academic, social and moral foundation of learning that could help build a strong community and a greater nation.

 

Mission

To produce God-fearing, competent, educated and well-disciplined future Professionals of the Hospitality Industry through the collaborative efforts of stakeholders concerned by providing competency-based learning and industry training.

Objective
    • General Objective

      To provide quality education and excellent training focused on life-skills development through competency-based program and a competency-based curriculum intended for hospitality operation and other services.

       

      Specific Objectives

      • Enhance and develop the individual personality of the students to fit the needs of the Hospitality Industry.
      • Inculcate values that would help them cope with the fast-changing trends of the industry and build harmonious relationship with other people from the industry as well as with clients or customers from different social classes or walks of life.
      • Enrich the theoretical knowledge and skills of every student in order to meet the high standards of globally competitive industry.
