Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig warmly welcomed the delegation from Abuyog Community College and the Municipality of Abuyog for a benchmarking visit held on July 28, 2026 at the PLP Banquet Hall. The activity served as a meaningful platform for the exchange of institutional and local governance best practices, promoting mutual learning and the sharing of innovative programs and experiences.

The delegation was led by Hon. Lemuel Gin K. Traya, Municipal Mayor of Abuyog and Chairman of the Board of Trustees together with Dr. Clemelle L. Montallana, President of Abuyog Community College. They were joined by members of the ACC Board of Trustees, municipal officials, college administrators, faculty representatives, and distinguished alumni who are among the institution’s top LET performers.

The program was attended by the PLP Department Heads and featured presentations on the University’s best practices as well as the innovative programs and initiatives of the City Government of Pasig presented by Ms. Maria Krisna P. Juangco of the Pasig Public Information Office. Through the exchange of insights and experiences, the benchmarking visit provided both institutions with valuable learning opportunities and a deeper appreciation of effective practices in higher education, public service, and community development.
